• UMPC's - Rise of the Ultra Mobile PC's. I think we're going to see some interesting developments with these devices this year. Asus brought out their Eepc last year, Apple have just bought out their offering dubbed 'Air'. Theres the iPhone, the much anticipated 'google phone' and many more devices soon to be released that will bring mobile surfing/ working into a whole new light.

• Touchy Feely Displays - Micro$aft have been pimping they're new multi-touch displays recently (similar to the iPhone screen). You can guarantee they will start popping up all over the place when other manufacturers figure out how to produce them without infringing MS/Apple patents!

• Robots - Everyone in the tech world seems to be going robot crazy. If you have a bit of spare time, check out some of the recent developments in the robot world... I guarantee you'll be amazed!

• Cheap web hosting companies - A certain major UK based hosting company has come under fire AGAIN this week, linked to a large number of compromised websites. Avoid cheap hosts, pay that little bit extra and get the security you deserve.

• Drive by Downloads - Only use websites if you're sure of their authenticity. Drive by downloads are on the increase, infecting PC's without the users even being aware. Stay vigilent!

• Email ad's looking for regional staff - A certain authentic looking trucking company is currently recruiting for (dumb, noob) 'enthusiastic, self motivated staff' to earn comission on payments they 'receive' into their bank. You will make money, but, you will go to prison! (more than likely anyway).

Actually thats a bit harsh of me, i dont really mean that. After all, christmas is the season of good will and all that.
